Delectus Sacrashe Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2006

A potent nose loaded with mineral and graphite components, liquorice, vanilla, fresh rose petal, dark-roast coffee beans, creamy orange (ice cream), and nutmeg. After a few minutes the nose comes full circle and focuses on the minerality again. The mouth is surprisingly gentle, the tannins are fully saturated, the structure is big, tall, and chewy. It is as complex as the nose, with a perfect balance and voluptuous mouth-feel, extremely long and lasting aftertaste. A wolf in sheep's clothing!
