The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Cailleret 1er Cru comes from two sources that have been used for many years. It has a superb bouquet, the most austere but the most Puligny of all of Jadot's Premier Crus from the appellation; this has wonderful delineation. The palate is very detailed and intense, lightly spiced, with razor-sharp acidity and plenty of concentration toward the persistent finish. This is a Premier Cru with Grand Cru aspirations... and why not? Highly recommended.
