Wine production at Sokol Blosser relies on traditional and conservative procedures assisted, rather than controlled, by technology. Grapes are hand-harvested, brought in small wooden totes to the winery, and treated as gently as possible to deliver their full flavor potential. Both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are aged in small (60 gallon) French oak casks for up to 18 months. The limited "Redland" bottling is composed of the very best barrels, and specially selected to represent the finest of each variety.
