Dark crimson red in colour. A nose of ripe cherry and blueberry fruits with a vanillin oak lift and a hint of spice. The palate is rich fruit up front, red berries and dark cherry with a very fine tannin structure giving length and texture to the wine. Sweet spice and savoury complexity in mid palate. A clean, bright finish with natural acidity and complexing toasty characters. Best enjoyed young and fresh. Enjoy with duck confit and creamy potato mash.
