Coming from three different sites in Carneros and Oak Knoll, the 2017 Chardonnay is a vibrant, medium-bodied effort that has classic citrus and salted melon aromas and flavors. It's nicely balanced, has good acidity and a great finish, and is high-quality stuff.

The 2017 Chardonnay (Napa Valley) is a very pretty wine from Beringer. Citrus, floral and lightly tropical notes are very nicely delineated. The blend of three sites works well here. Although the 2017 is already quite open, it also has a good bit of freshness and structure from vinification in a mix of oak and steel along with partially blocked malolactic fermentation.
