The 2020 Malbec Clasico is 75% from Lujan de Cuyo and 25% from the Uco Valley. A mild purple hue. Considering the year, the nose presents notes of quite fresh plum with hints of herbs, syrup and floral aromas. In the mouth, it has good volume, firm, grippy tannins and an expansive flow before the ripe finish.

The back label reads "Malbec specialist". Although there might be many wineries claiming this title, it's true that Altos Las Hormigas has only focused in Malbec since its beginnings in 1995.
